I am really happy with this sunflower. Diane Becker had painted one and I just loved the shadows on the petals and the brightness of it.
This seagull is a memory of my vacation last year in Sarasota. I did it recently for a class in which the assignment was to paint a picture in cool colors.
This is from a photo from Dan Edmondson used with permission. It is by a river in Colorado. Who doesn't love Colorado photos?
This is a set up with my little brass bird. I have painted it before and it is always a challenge. As are chrysanthemums. It isn't quite finished, I am waiting for it to set up to do some glazing.
